Gotta keep motivated
With winter arriving soon not much going on in Michigan, so i have to try and stay in shape till March 26th ( The next event i’m entering). So in the mean time just training and learning. Going to learn as much about running as possible. Might have Have a friend (who ran cross country) coach me, because what i read so far my injury’s we’re do to bad form. LOL So I need to learn...

I have done my last run till Sunday went good no pain, i think if ready for this marathon, weighted in at 187 my lowest yet, everything seems to be going good, just need to carb load the next 2 days

Ran a 5.3 miler in 44.05 so not too bad. My knee still holding up. Starting to get that excited/nervous feeling.

Almost back to normal
My knee's still bothering me, but my times are getting better and i'm able to go a longer distance without as much pain. My weight is about 190 was hanging around low 200's when i couldn't run.

Been a long time since i last wrote something,
So i’ll start about a month ago, I went on a 110 mile bike ride and thought it be smart to race a friend the last 24 miles and tore something in my knee (dont know what it is but hurt like heck), so i havent been able to run lately. Why is it when u order something from a local store it always takes longer to get then ordering from a big company? I blew a tire last week so i ordered a bike tube 8 days ago and still haven’t got it and the stores  in MI (Where i Live). Monday i ordered some shoes from reebok and got them today (2 days later).  I paid for shipping from the local store and reebok shipping was free. Ohh...

Reached my weight goal for this month
I wanted to be under 200, i hit 197.5 the last 3 days I exercised  and ate good. I haven’t been under 200lbs in 3 years feels good. Now need to make new goal thinking 190.

Stepped up Training
I went up to 5.3 miles today (thought it was only gonna be 4.3), lol. My time was right about where I expected it to be was overall happy with how the training went.

Morning Running
 I read an article about running in the morning before you eat, Just have 1/2 cup of coffee. The last couple of days I’ve been trying it. I’ve notice my time being better, my weight being lower, and more energy through out the day.  So if u want to switch it up. Give it a try so far its worked for me.

Best time ever
Just ran my fastest 3.3 miles ever 23.58, so i’m happy. Hopefully by the end on the week i’ll bump up my distance need to get my training to 6 miles before the tri.

Should I buy a wet suit
I was working out and got distracted, Started looking for a wet suit, I need to stop working out at home, lol, a 30 min work out turned to 1 and 1/2. But anyways. I'm thinking of doing 2 Triathlons this year, so do i really need a wet suit? I guess i would use it to train.
Swimming is probably my strongest discipline anyways but ppl tell me i will cut out alot of time, but i'm not going to win the tri. Just finish, lol
Let me know what you guys think, Should i buy a wet suit?

Getting ready for the Tri
I’ve been skipping my cardio lately and just lifting so i decided to push myself today. I biked 12.7 miles and ran 3.3 miles. Surprisingly it wasn’t that bad, the 1st .5 mile of running was the hardest, after that pretty smooth. Now i just need to focus on the losing weight part still want to drop 30 lbs before July 10th. Aghhh my eating habits are bad!!!! lol

I’m thinking of signing up for  25k in 24 days, but last week and starting this week I’ve been so lazy, I’ve been lifting but not running. I’ve been lazy the last 5 days, don’t know why just haven’t felt up to it. I pushed my butt out the door today. Today i’m lifting shoulders and do a slow 2 mile run before tomorrow just read the rules yesterday and u have to weight-in with shoes, socks and shirt so instead of losing 2 lbs its looking like 3 1/2 so gotta do some cardio today was gonna rest but i guess not :(

Training for a race Saturday, after a long lay off, just got under 30 mins for my 3.5 mile run so that was exciting. The hardest part now is trying to eat health again, so long of just eating whatever. Now eating somewhat healthy sucks, haha. Want to get to at lease 210 by Saturday. At 212 now, started the month at about 225 so progressing pretty good.
